High School (9th-12th)

High School Church School

From September through mid-May we meet on Sunday mornings after worship at 11:00am-12:00pm for Bible study and spiritual discipleship. You can join us in the Senior High Room, west of the sanctuary, through the iron gates, and across the courtyard on the left. Many times we plan surprise events for worship; it requires great skill and daring, and you should bring along your sense of humor, too!

High School Fellowship

UPC’s High School Fellowship group is active in their faith! September through mid-May we meet nearly every Sunday evening at 6:00-7:30 pm in the Senior High Room for fun and fellowship—oh, and that all-important food!

2015 High School Summer Mission Trip
Myrtle Beach, S. Carolina

In July of 2015 we headed to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, to participate in First Presbyterian Church’s Beach Castles program. Despite Myrtle Beach being a popular vacation spot on the east coast, it is also home to incredible poverty and struggle amidst unreliable and seasonal work. Here’s a video that tells the story of our trip and what we learned:

2013 High School Summer Mission Trip
Manistique, Michigan

What an amazing week in the beautiful upper peninsula of Michigan. We visited our beloved “Papa Jack” Armstrong and partnered with the HiawathaLand Habitat for Humanity to work on the house in which his beloved late wife, Nancy, grew up. Here’s a “short” video that tells some of the story:
