Meeting Room

These four words which are associated with each of the four Sundays of Advent will be the focus of the adult Sunday School class led by Bev Phillips.  The women named in Matthew's genealogy of Jesus (Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, Bathsheba, Mary) will provide the basis for the discussion.  If you enjoy lively conversation, want to explore the Bible and to experience this season more deeply, join this class which will meet in the Meeting Room.

PRAYER ROOM AT UPC

Beginning December 7th the lounge at UPC will become a prayer room each Sunday morning from 9:00 to 9:30.  Prayer is necessary and helpful at all times, but it is greatly needed in these hard economic times that are affecting our church, us as individuals, our state, our nation and our world. The Prayer Room will be a place where you can come to sit quietly, meditate and pray.  It will be a place of silence. We will be uniting our spirits, not our voices, in prayer before God   Printed prayers, helps and suggestions will be available but there will be no “lesson,” no talking.  If you have any questions call Bev Phillips.
