Redrawing Eucharistic Borders Trip

March 9-12, 2016

Douglas, AZ and Agua Prieta, Sonora

Sign up now for a guided trip to the U.S.-Mexico border in an exploration of Jesus’ practice of breaking bread and crossing cultural, religious, and national boundaries and borders. We will be led by the Rev. Mark Adams, executive director of the Presbyterian Border Ministry Frontera de Cristo, and the Rev. Eric Ledermann, pastor of UPC. Rev. Adams will share with us the history of the border we share with Mexico, as well as some of the struggles on both sides. We will then engage our sisters and brothers in Mexico with an agape feast shared through the fence.

Passports or Passport Cards will be required
to cross into Mexico and return to the U.S.

For ASU students, the cost is $50 (includes food, lodging, and transportation between Tempe and the border and into Mexico). For non-ASU students, the cost is $150 (includes food, lodging and transportation into Mexico).
